Okay I just watched Big Byung and I realied it’s impossible for non-Koreans to understand anything without an explanation.

Korean will call ugly people squid (ojingeo), especially when you’re standing next to good looking people. So for example, people joke that anyone becomes an ojingeo when you’re standing next to someone like Won Bin.

Koreans also call women who flaunt their wealth soybean paste girl (dwenjang-nyuh). It’s for women who are pretty empty on the inside and just don on the most expensive accessories and bags and clothes and whatnot.
